The viruses of our company originate from the world's largest repository of pathogenic microorganisms and the National Microbial and Virus Strain Preservation Center, with a comprehensive range of virus types and subtypes. The viral strains are authenticated by authoritative microbial strain and virus strain preservation centers, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for production processes and traceability information, and are stably supplied. All inactivated pathogens undergo infectivity tests on cultured cells and are accompanied by a Certificate of Analysis (COA) to ensure safety and non-infectiousness. Pathogenic microorganisms can be cultured to the highest concentration and measured using TCID50 and Quantitative Real-time PCR (qPCR).
Customization Period/Partially Available Off-the-Shelf:
- Virus Culture and Amplification: The growth cycle varies depending on the characteristics of different viruses. To achieve a high titer, several rounds of culture are often required, with each round taking approximately 4~12 days.
- Inactivation and Validation: There are two methods of inactivation: thermal inactivation and chemical inactivation. The inactivation process takes several hours to 2 days, followed by validation to ensure complete inactivation, which takes 3~5 days. The entire preparation process for inactivated viruses may involve 3 or more such inactivation cycles.
- Packaging and Shipping:When collecting inactivated viruses, they are packaged according to predefined specifications and stored in a -80℃ freezer. Dry ice must be ordered one day in advance for shipping.
